While visiting L&C, schedule an informational meeting with a staff member in the Office of Student Accessibility to learn more about accommodations and academic support. To schedule an appointment, call 503-768-7192, or email access@lclark.edu.

Our office is committed to ensuring your transition to Lewis & Clark is a smooth one by working with each student to determine appropriate and reasonable accommodations with specific limitations due to disabilities. Since college and university campuses are guided by a different legal framework from high schools, please review the summary of differences that will be helpful for you to understand before coming to campus. Our experienced and supportive staff are ready to support and work with you to receive reasonable and available accommodations.

Incoming Student Information

You may schedule an appointment to set up academic accommodations once you receive your Lewis & Clark College ID number, your @lclark.edu email account, and have signed in with Multi-Factor Authentication. In the meantime, here is some helpful information regarding accommodations.

Academic Accommodations/Documentation
To request academic accommodations, please submit documentation (504/IEP) or a letter from your provider that includes:

  • Your diagnosis(es);
  • How your disability impacts your ability to access your education; and
  • Recommended accommodations.

Once complete, upload this documentation at the bottom of the OSA Intake Form. This intake form will only need to be filled out once. Once completed you will then add any additional documents to your Accommodate account once you can log in.

Residential Accommodations
For housing-related accommodations, your provider must complete the LC Residential Accommodation Documentation Form and return it to you. You will then upload it via the same OSA Intake Form. Please be mindful of Campus Living Housing Deadlines.

Scheduling Your Appointment
Once you have your Lewis & Clark College ID and email, please schedule a Zoom or in-person appointment through our system, Accommodate by Symplicity. If you need help scheduling, email access@lclark.edu or call 503-768-7192.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
During your initial meeting, an OSA staff member will engage you in an interactive process. You’ll discuss your disability, how it affects you in academic or residential settings, and explore reasonable accommodations to support your access at Lewis & Clark College.

If you have questions or would like to meet before you’re eligible to set up accommodations, please email us at access@lclark.edu with three possible dates and times (PST) that work for you. We’ll do our best to coordinate a meeting by email.

Please note: Due to final exams and end-of-year activities, most appointments will not be available between May first to May fifteenth.
